From 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2026, TRA is fast-tracking skills assessments for construction occupations — including Wall & Floor Tilers (ANZSCO 333411) — at no extra cost. If you plan to start the JRP, apply before this window closes.
Important: The Job Ready Program (JRP) is administered entirely by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) using your ANZSCO occupation code — an independent Australian Government body. Wyatt Education Group supports your preparation for this program but does not administer, assess, or determine outcomes of the JRP. All migration and visa enquiries must be directed to a registered migration agent.
The TRA Job Ready Program (JRP) is a formal skills assessment pathway administered by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) under ANZSCO 333411 — Wall and Floor Tiler — an Australian Government body operating under the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations. The JRP is designed specifically for international graduates who have completed a trade qualification such as CPC31320 at a CRICOS-registered RTO in Australia.
The TRA skills assessment tests whether a CPC31320 graduate's applied trade skills meet Australian industry standards. A successful JRP outcome is a recognised skills assessment under ANZSCO 333411 that may support a skilled migration visa application — including permanent residency pathways — subject to individual eligibility requirements and the Department of Home Affairs.
Completing the TRA Job Ready Program requires a combination of your CPC31320 qualification, genuine paid employment, regular reporting to TRA, and a workplace assessment. Here is how the journey typically unfolds for a CPC31320 graduate.
Graduate from Wyatt Education Group's CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (CRICOS 119407M). Your Australian qualification from a CRICOS-registered RTO is the foundation of JRP eligibility.
Apply directly to TRA for your Job Ready Program Registration and Eligibility (JRPRE). TRA will assess your qualification and confirm your eligibility. This is a TRA process — you apply via the TRA Online Portal.
This is where your career begins. Secure full-time paid employment in tiling or construction — through our industry partner network or on your own. Employment must be genuine, at 38 hours per week, with a TRA-approved employer. Many of our graduates hit the ground running through connections made during their studies.
Upload payslips, Employment Verification Reports, and Skills Progress Reports (SPRs) regularly via the TRA Online Portal throughout your 12 months of employment. Accurate and honest reporting is critical — TRA has strict fraud prevention policies.
After 6+ months of employment, a TRA-appointed assessor visits your workplace to observe your skills in action. The assessor is appointed by TRA — not by Wyatt. The outcome of this assessment is determined solely by TRA.
TRA issues your formal Skills Assessment outcome. A positive outcome provides a recognised skills assessment that may be used to support a skilled migration visa application — subject to eligibility requirements set by the Department of Home Affairs. The full program must be completed within 3 years of your JRPRE outcome.
Wyatt Education Group's role is to ensure your CPC31320 qualification is delivered to the highest standard and to support your preparation for the TRA JRP. We do not administer the JRP or influence its outcome — but here is what we do provide.
Our CPC31320 curriculum is structured and delivered to ensure it meets the requirements of TRA's JRP eligibility criteria. The qualification is recognised by TRA as a pathway qualification for Wall and Floor Tiling.
We provide a JRP Information Kit to eligible CPC31320 graduates. The kit explains the TRA JRP stages, key documents required, TRA portal registration guidance, and how to keep compliant records throughout your employment period.
Graduates gain access to our network of construction industry partners, contractors, and employers across Western Sydney — through introductions, referrals, or simply being in the right room at the right time. Whether you land a role through us or forge your own path, we are here to open doors. TRA approval of employers is assessed independently by TRA.
Wyatt Education Group is not involved in the TRA assessment process, does not determine JRP outcomes, and cannot guarantee migration results. The JRP outcome — including the Skills Assessment — is determined solely by Trades Recognition Australia, an independent Australian Government body. For migration advice, always consult a registered migration agent.
Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) using your ANZSCO occupation code is the sole decision-maker on all JRP outcomes. No RTO — including Wyatt Education Group — has any influence over TRA's Skills Assessment decisions.
A positive Skills Assessment from TRA confirms that your trade skills meet Australian industry standards for your nominated occupation. This assessment may then be used to support a skilled migration visa application — but visa decisions are made by the Department of Home Affairs, not TRA or Wyatt.
TRA's assessment is rigorous. It involves verification of your employment records, payslips, employer reports, and a physical workplace assessment by a TRA-appointed assessor. Outcomes cannot be influenced or predicted by Wyatt Education Group.
Visit TRA — Official JRP Information ↗TRA issues a formal Skills Assessment confirming your trade skills meet Australian standards. This assessment document may be used as supporting evidence in skilled migration visa applications including state-sponsored and employer-sponsored pathways — subject to visa subclass requirements and individual eligibility.
TRA may find that employment evidence is insufficient, skills do not meet required standards, or documentation requirements were not met. You may have review options — consult TRA directly and seek migration agent advice.
A positive TRA skills assessment under ANZSCO 333411 may support a permanent residency application through Australia's skilled migration. CPC31320 is a recognised trade qualification for this pathway. However, visa eligibility, points scores, state nomination, and visa outcomes are entirely separate from the JRP and are determined by the Department of Home Affairs.
Wyatt Education Group does not provide migration advice. For all enquiries related to Permanent Residency, skilled migration visas, visa eligibility, state nomination, or points assessment — please consult a registered migration agent (MARA registered). Only registered migration agents are legally authorised to provide migration advice in Australia.
